I collaborated with my sibling in a project she launched called the Museum Project. The first phase of the project my sibling installed herself in various museums with her art, guerrilla style, and in the second phase, helped me to install myself with my art (and when I couldnʻt be there, others would hold my art.
It is a statement of this is me, I am an artist, and I am not going to wait until Iʻve passed for the work to be seen. I declare that I am a part of the family of all those called to create.
My work has been installed at LACMA, in Los Angeles. MOMA, in New York, and at the Norton Simon Museum where I once worked as a museum guard.
I would love to go back there and volunteer as a museum guard.
